IO­540­AB1A5 or its applicable crankshaft that had propeller flange bushings replaced in the field in accordance with Service Instruction No. 1098G.

This Service Bulletin applies only to Lycoming engine model IO­540­AB1A5 and applicable crankshafts that had the propeller flange bushings replaced in the field in accordance with Service Instruction No. 1098G. This Service Bulletin does not apply to any new, rebuilt, or overhauled Lycoming engine model IO­  540­AB1A5 or its applicable crankshaft that is built and shipped from the factory and has not had any field  maintenance completed on the propeller flange bushings.
