MODELS AFFECTED

Lycoming (L)TIO-540-J2B and (L)TIO-540-J2BD model engines with engine serial numbers listed in Table 1 in this bulletin.

Kelly Aerospace turbocharger assemblies sold as spares with Lycoming P/N LW-12463 and Kelly Aerospace serial numbers listed in Kelly Aerospace Service Bulletin No. 029. These spare turbochargers were shipped from Lycoming between January 1, 2007 and January 31, 2008.

TIME OF COMPLIANCE

Within the next 10 hours of engine operation, or at the next regularly scheduled maintenance event, or at annual inspection, whichever comes first.

This reprint is current at the time Lycoming Service Bulletin No. 580 is issued. However, when complying with this Service Bulletin, insure that compliance is in accordance with the latest revision of Kelly Aerospace Service Bulletin No. 029.
