MODELS AFFECTED

Lycoming engine models using the HET part number 200F or 202F series fuel pumps with less than 100 hours time-in-service for the fuel pump.

TIME OF COMPLIANCE

Next maintenance event not to exceed 25 hours.

This Mandatory Service Bulletin (MSB) is notification of required action for compliance with Hartzell Engine Technologies Alert Service Bulletin No. 098 dated May 22, 2023, regarding Lycoming engine models using Lycoming fuel pump part numbers which correspond to HET 200F and 202F series fuel pumps approved for use on Lycoming engines (see most current revision of Lycoming Service Instruction No. 1533 - Approved Rotary Vane Fuel Pumps).
