Lycoming Union Workers Ratify New 5-Year Contract

Unionized workers at Lycoming Engines have approved a new five-year contract with the company.
WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Thursday, September 28, 2023 – Lycoming Engines, a subsidiary of AVCO Corporation, a Textron company, today announced the acceptance of a new five-year contract by the United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) Local 787.
Members of the UAW 787 union voted and approved the agreement Thursday, which covers over 365 employees working in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The new contract is effective immediately.
The prior five-year contract expired on April 28, and was extended through July 31, 2023. The union has since been working without a contract.
