Aaron Spotts

As Vice President of Sales and Customer Service, Aaron is involved with supporting more than 80 OEM aircraft manufacturers, Lycoming authorized distributors and aftermarket customers worldwide. 

Aaron joined Lycoming Engines in 1997 and has various positions of increasing responsibilities within the company. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Engineering and Programs. He started his career with Lycoming in the Operations department as an engine assembly supervisor.

With a background in aviation, Aaron holds a Federal Aviation Administration mechanic certificate with airframe and power plant ratings and a pilot certificate with private rating. He also participated as a team member on the General Aviation Joint Steering Committee (GAJSC), System Component Failure-power plant working group as part of the industry-government Safer Skies Initiative to improve aviation safety.

Aaron’s educational background includes a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as an Associate of Science in Aviation Maintenance. He received his Six Sigma black belt through Textron and has completed training at Duke University Corporate Education’s Senior Executive Leadership Program.
