TIME OF COMPLIANCE

In the field, anytime the intake or exhaust valves are removed from a cylinder that has been removed from the engine, the following valve leak check procedure must be done after the valves (new, repaired, or re-used) are assembled with the valve springs and the valves installed in the cylinder

Preventive and Corrective Action for Engines Operated with Incorrect Fuel 

This Service Bulletin gives guidance when a  Lycoming  engine  has been operated  with incorrect  fuel. Engine malfunction and damage could occur because of the use of incorrect fuels.

To all Lycoming Engine Owners, Operators, and Field Service Personnel 

In the wake of Teledyne Continental Motors’ (TCM’s) announcement that they will no longer produce or support dual magnetos, this Service  Letter  introduces Lycoming  Engines’ plan to use  an alternative  replacement dual magneto that will be  used  on Lycoming  engines once our current supply of TCM dual  magnetos has been depleted.
